Mission Hills  Innovation & Enrichment Workshops

Dates: June 15 – July 24, 2026 (6 weeks)

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, June 15 – July 24, 2026

(no school on June 19th in observance of Juneteenth & July 3, 2026, in observance of 4th of July) (with extended morning care starting at 8:30AM)

 

Fees: $2,700 for 6 weeks (savings of $150 per week) or $600 weekly

 

Engineering Workshop: Students will explore how engineers make things work, while discovering the math, history, and ideas behind famous inventions and structures. They will also investigate colleges that offer the path they would like to take to become an engineer.

 

Math Workshop: An enrichment course for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. This course is carefully designed to fill in learning gaps without skipping the current math level, ensuring a solid understanding of foundational concepts. Students will strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and prepare effectively for the math placement test at the start of the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to help your child start the academic year on a strong note.

 

Robotics Workshop: Rising middle school engineers will tackle complex robotics challenges,

designing, building, and programming their own robots. Through hands-on projects, students explore engineering, coding, and collaboration, bringing their creations to life and experiencing the thrill of interactive, real-world problem-solving.

 

English Workshop: Reading comprehension and writing skills workshop for rising 6th, 7th and 8thgrade students. This workshop is designed to enhance students' understanding of reading materials through improved comprehension strategies and to build stronger writing skills, helping them express their ideas more effectively. By participating in this program, students will gainvaluable tools and techniques that will set them up for success in the upcoming school year and beyond.

 

Creative Studio: Students will push their artistic boundaries through advanced design, mixedmedia, and inventive projects. This workshop encourages creative problem-solving, experimentation, and original expression, helping students develop their own unique artistic voice.
